I hear that. If it makes you feel any better, Honor Levy published some horseshit in the NYT recently that was both coy to the point of unreadability, and ripped apart in the comments. They can't attract a legit constituency because they can't articulate much less defend what they're trying to show, don't tell.

I view a lot of these folks through the lens of Kohlberg's stages of moral development; they're children. The horrid show described here is the equivalent of a 5 year old's, "You're not coming to my birthday, and everybody else is!" Kids are mean; we help them outgrow it.
